In 1993, John G. Tobin earned a B.A. degree from the Brooks Institute of Phototography, Santa Barbara, graduating with a double major in illustration/advertising - industrial/scientific photography. In 1988 he earned an A.A. degree in journalism, graduating with distinction. Throughout school, John maintained a photography business in Los Angeles.

The finest education available, combined with years of experience identifying and satisfying client needs, has led to a client list that reads as a veritable who's who of Rock & Roll and Hollywood. Relationships with MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Universal Studios, The House of Blues, UCLA, Spike T.V., Starz!, T.V. Land, and many others have endured and thrived for over a decade. Be it capturing bullets mid-flight, photographing Tom Cruise with MTV contest winners or touring with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, John G. has consistently delivered photography of exceptional quality.

John travels extensively but always gets back to West Los Angeles, where he has lived and worked for much of his life.
